Q: What is the difference between diegetic and non-diegetic sound?
A: Diegetic sound is sound that comes from the setting of the film, for example the voices of characters, noise in kitchen or the sound of trees in the wind. However, non-diegetic sound is sound that comes from our world. For example, a soundtrack in the background or voice over narration.
All correct,Hannah! And thanks for publishing the Cold War prep, albeit a bit late!
